We are delighted to offer specialist physiotherapy services at Willow for patients requiring breast cancer rehabilitation.
Specialist physiotherapist, Seonaid Airth, brings a wealth of experience from 30 years in private practice. Seonaid is transitioning her practice to focus exclusively on the treatment and rehabilitation for patients undergoing breast cancer surgery. Seonaid specialises scar release and cording following breast cancer surgery and focusing on return to function.
Seonaid is the only specialist physiotherapist in Scotland offering this specialist treatment.
The initial session lasts one hour and includes an assessment, treatment and rehabilitation plan. Where appropriate the patient can receive a short video summarising the consultation findings, the exercises and any do’s or don’ts! Without exception patients have fed back that the video summary is hugely beneficial to them in understanding their condition and carrying out rehab properly.
If required, a follow up session can be arranged for review of your existing problem and further support with your rehab.
