Women who think they are perimenopausal should book an Initial Menopause Consultation to allow us sufficient time to explore all aspects of menopause care.

Pre-consultation
To get the most out of your time with our specialist we will ask you to complete a pre-consultation form all about your medical history, your cycles, and your experience with hormones to date.
Consultation
Meet with our women’s health specialist to explore your hormone concern and develop an action plan.
Investigation
We may recommend hormone blood tests to look closely at your cycle.
You also may be ask to complete a menstrual diary to help capture the exact timing of your symptoms in relation to your cycle.

Joint Consultation
60 min consultation (face to face or virtual) with our hormone specialist and our dietitian, at the same time.
This may be a preferred option for a holistic approach to weight concerns in relation to your hormones. This can include weight loss support with medication, if required.

Annual prescription membership
After a follow up consultation, we can offer you an annual membership to continue to provide your prescriptions. Our specialist will review your medical record and ensure no contraindications to continue to prescribe safely. In order to provide repeat prescriptions, you will require a review with the specialist annually.

Blood tests
Occasionally blood tests may be required to help aid diagnosis.
If required, we can take your blood tests during your face to face appointment at our clinic, or we can arrange for you to attend your local phlebotomy clinic provided by Nationwide Pathology. Phlebotomy clinics will charge a fee for taking the blood test, this is approximately £40
Blood Test Options
We can help you decide what may be required at the time of your consultation. We may need to time your blood test with the beginning of a cycle (day 2-5).
Blood tests can only be carried out forexisting patients as part of a consultation. Payment for bloods must be taken at the time of when the blood test is ordered/taken. We have the right to change our pricing for blood tests at any time.
Results
Blood tests are processed by the Nationwide Pathology lab. We will provide you with a summary and a full explanation of your results via email within 7 days.
